It was great. I don't have pictures of sandsurfing, but I do have more pictures from Socorro, so here they are. The dish on the left is the one we climbed into. They are currently working on this dish, converting it to the Enhanced Very Large Array. It was very white on the inside, and extremely hot on the desert plains of NM. And there was a giant gear for the altitude-azimuth drive.
